The Extra 9 kg is an additional weight allowance applied to the same piece of baggage, up to a maximum total weight of 32 kg. It does not constitute an additional piece. The award applies on eligible
flights, subject to Air Algérie Plus conditions and Air Algérie’s current flight schedule. Destinations and service availability may change according to flight operations.
How to Use Your Excess Baggage Award:
To redeem your excess baggage award, please send us via doleances your loyal customer account: Log in, providing the following details:
- The itinerary, e.g., Algiers-Paris.
- The travel date on which you wish to use your award.
- The ticket number purchased for the desired date.
- The weight of the baggage you wish to transport (either an additional 23 kg piece or an extra baggage allowance of up to 9 kg).

Please note that this request must be made no later than 3 business days before the departure date.
